New to forum, please help. No start issue

I just bought a 07 ford f350 4x4 super cab with utility bed for 3,800 buck. Thought I got a deal of a lifetime. I bought it not running. But knew the truck.

While driving down the road, the truck just shut off. Bought it and brought it home. Read codes for low pressure. 2290. Took it to friends shop. 25 lbs oil pressure on scanner. Was told the hpop went out. Replaced it today and took me 3.5 hours. I work on gas stuff, but never touched a diesel. So I thought it was not bad. Go to start, and still no start, but also no codes. Any help would be appreciated before I tow it back to shop scanner.lol

Before I replace the hpop, I disconnected the ipr with no change. Pulled oil filter cap off and I have plenty of LP oil

You can disconnect the icp on the passenger side valve cover and try to start the truck but not the ipr valve. If ipr which is connected to the hpop is disconnected the truck will def not start. After cranking for a few seconds does the oil pressure gage on the dash move? Did you switch ipr valves when you replaced the hpop or did you use your old one? What was the condition of the ipr valve screen?

I was told that the ipr would go into default mode and push 500 psi if unplugged. I used my old ipr, but it is pretty new. Yes, after cranking a few, the guage goes up to halfway. The screen was clean

Disconnect the icp to see if it starts that will cause the 500 psi default. Check ipr screen to make sureit did not blow out usual sign something went into the pump and still might be there. Check to see if oil is leaking throuch icp know to work it wat through sensr causing ittogo bad. Buy a scan gauge or some thing similar to read icp pressure, icp volts and ipr and other vital system could be something else.

The icp will go into default and possibly allow the truck to start, to my knowledge the ipr will not. You could also have an issue with high pressure oil leak internally.

So if I do not have a high pressure oil leak at the hpop, then where could it be. Also, I do not understand that if it needs 500 psi to start, and I only have 25 psi, then wouldn't I be able to see the problem somewhere.

Ficm is in sync . Icp pressure is 68 psi, uplugged it was reading 1460 psi dsd . Still will not start even with unplugging icp. Where to go next. I did crank over with the oil filter cap off, and it fills with oil, but now read that I need to push the spring down? Does that make a difference?
