Help identifying residue from water seperator/smoke issues...

Hey first post on this forum. I've lurked around for a while. I purchased a 2006 CC 6.0 about a year ago with 223,000 miles. I got it for an absolute steal so I wasn't too worried about the mileage. It now has 227,000 on it. The only mods I am aware of are a 4" turbo back exhaust and egr delete. I'm still learning my way around the diesels as this is my first one. I baby the truck and do not haul except occasionally a 17' CC Boat.

I've only put 4K miles so I've changed the oil once. I've never been one to change oil on a monthly basis, only by mileage.
The only problems I've had:
- Auto lock hubs not engaging (vacuum issue)
- a little white smoke when cold and then goes away.

Now, I have a good bit of white smoke during all operating temps and not just when cold. It will steadily put out a small bit of white smoke. If I press the gas, it will puff white smoke and the disepate, then come back steady. I'm trying to rule out small stuff and in the process drained the water seperator today. When I did, it had a small amount of water but nothing major. But, as it drained, the pumped out black goo and then large pieces of brown particulate that I guess is rust. I am thinking I'm having some injector issues and after seeing what's coming through the line wouldn't doubt it. Any ideas?
