05 Cranks but no start

I am working on a buddy's 05 with a crank no start complaint. It had low icp so I air tested the high pressure system and it had air coming from the oil filter housing so I thought it was the hpop. I replaced the pump and while I was in there I replaced the stand pipes, dummy plugs, icp valve, and oil cooler. Got it together and still no start I air tested it and it seemed to be leaking at the top injector oring so I replace all the orings on the injectors and the nipple cups and orings. Still the same problem now when I air test when I command the icp valve to 95% I get some air at the back of the pump but when I put 12v to it there is no air. Also the truck will start with 12v to the icp but with it plugged into the harness it only builds about 300psi. I have tried a known good ficm also and no difference. I'm really stumped I'm primarily a duramax guy so I'm learning as I go. Thanks

The ipr is 85% and only builds around 300 psi after cranking for a while.

If its only 200 psi after extended cranking then you have a HPO leak somewhere, the truck will not fire unless its above ~500 psi

Unfortunately you might have to tear down and recheck all your o rings

I had an instance where i did a STC upgrade on a 07 and i didnt get all of the old o ring where the pump feeds the branch tubes and eventually failed again, i had to tear it apart and double check my work and found the old oring under the new one that i installed

Did the new HPOP come with the updated STC fitting? or did you have to pull parts off the old pump? Im not familiar how they come new because i havent had to replace a pump on a 05-07 only 03-04 and they are different.

I keep going back to a leak but when I air test with shop air it doesn't leak anywhere but the back of the pump. The new pump did come with the upgraded stc fitting. The weird thing is when I have 12v to the ipr valve it will fire. Thanks

The IPR is commanded by the FICM so if its not getting command to close this could be your problem. Check for FICM codes?
