Code PO401

Hey everybody, picked up me an '06 F250 CCLB KR FX4 and I noticed that code came up and is for EGR insufficient flow. Upon reading different forums and opinions (via Google), apparently it has to be deleted through a tuner? I also noticed a little oil buildup under the turbo where the Oil cooler sits. This truck has a bone stock engine. I am thinking of doing the EGR delete or replace (sinister diesel or bulletproof) and oil cooler replacement. Would those suffice? I don't have the money right now for the full bulletproof. Also, I am one of those guys that sometimes talks himself out of things and answers his own questions.. Haha. I am new to the game and tell me some mods I could do if I have to take her apart too! Thanks guys.

Sounds to me like it already has the cooler blocked off. That's why it's showing an insufficient flow code. The oil you are talking about could be coming from the blue boot that comes off the turbo. They are prone to splitting on the bottom side.

Ok sweet, I will check that out. I knew the cac boots were in that area, just not that they would crack on the bottom. Thank you.
