Possible HPOP problem

03' f250. It has a new ipr and the icp is about 2years old. When at operating temp, usually between 45-70mph, when accelerating the ipr reading goes way up and the icp will drop from the 1400's down to about 780 and no power. The truck will start hot. Monitored icp voltage and it was in spec. Replicated driving conditions and it never lost voltage or appeared to be out of spec. What else to check before throwing in the towel on a new pump?????
