Lifter failure. Engine rebuild

Just had a lifter failure which trashed the engine. Working on a rebuild. Is there anything that you would recommend that I do while the engine is torn apart. Recently put in a PowerMax turbo, new injectors, Head studs and EGR delete, coolant filter. It's a daily driver. Thanks

If you are doing the reman yourself, you should have everything machined and put all new parts into it. Don't re-use anything as long as it's a total tear down. Price it all out, we may be competetive with our pricing.

There is an update kit, depending on year (03-04)(05-07) that includes some updated parts. MKM customs sells them (others may as well). Google "6.0 Powerstroke Update Kit". and select your year. They are between 320-400. Might as well do it now while your engine is in pieces. Sorry for your bad engine. I feel ya.
