HPOP Housing RTV

I just completed an STC fitting install on an 05. I have the housing bolted down, but during my nightly youtube-ing I found that folks are using RTV on the back where the bed plate meets the block.

I was wondering about that because when I removed the HPOP cover I noticed that the previous owner when buck crazy with the grey RTV and got it all over the place. I cleaned it all off but didn't think about putting it back.

What have you guys done?

Your gonna need just a dab in both rear corners of the cover so it doesn't leak.
