hot, warm no start -occasionally
05 6.0 210000 when warmed up it runs like a watch. When these thing are right they are wonderful engines. DONE- STC fitting, dummy plugs & stand pipes, studs, SCT tuner, egr delete, oil cooler, use the Arch oil ( great stuff)all the usual. A little rough idle when cold but no concern. Has not started twice on my daughter with a trailer. When I get there it starts fine.....of course. Use a scan gauge. IPR, icp, ficm, fuel press all pids are great. Randomly go out and try to start it to get it to act up. Finally last night no start no FICM sync. Now its my understanding you will get sync when cranking. A little confused on this. Go read a little last night, try it this morning, starts like a new truck every time. I am thinking electrical issue other than another fuel related problems. Have not done rails or cups yet, just runs too well but looking for thoughts on the electrical side or to eliminate that possibility.....thanks

I have been through just about every item. Its a no start always when warm. IPR clean and reads 14.8., Fuel Pressure 70 psi, ICP 1 koeo, 820 on start, FICM 48.5, , filters and fluids all new. What I don't see, don't understand or missed in these threads is what component would cause a no sync reading when warm, and then when cold starts like a champ. Not a matter of how hot or warm its is, may do it once in 20 starts. If its an intermittent sync that's what had me thinking electrical, or harness issue. Only thing I have not touched are the fuel rails yet but I don't know if that would be a contributing factor? When its starts it runs like a champ
