EOT/ECT Towing

Went about 3.5 hours away and picked up a boat last friday and towed it back to MD. While empty I saw EOT between 190-201 and ECT between 185-195 at highway speeds. These temps are what the truck always does. On the return trip with the boat in tow, EOT was around 225-230 and ECT was 200-210. I know the truck will go into limp mode at 253 but I have never saw temps this high. I normally do not tow anything this big either. Boat weighs approx 10k lbs. All of this towing was done between 55-65 MPH. Is this a normal range while towing such a big load? Temp outside was around 80-85 if that matters. Any help is greatly appreciated.
