coolant level goes up and down

When my engine is cold the coolant level in the bottle is between the minimum and maximum. When the engine is at operating temperature the level is below the minimum. Is this normal? This is the exact opposite of every other vehicle I have owned.

Also, when cold the upper radiator hose has collapsed. But doesn't swell when warm. Replace it?

burp your cap if u want a consistent reading ( safely)

but under pressure the hoses and voids will and expand and the level in the dagas drops

i look at mine in my driveway with a slight incline so i usually open the cap because even after a day I can still have pressure

the hose can collapse like parked that it won't stay like that when driving

i think your fine if you had cooling issues you would see it on the ECT and coolant loss

Thanks, yeah no cooling issues. Perfect readings on my monitor and no coolant loss just up and down
