When I first bought my truck which was about 5 months ago the ac worked, but now it does had the stuff done to. And I popped the hood yesterday and the line that goes to the heater valve and it was melted in half. So I went to autozone and bought a little sleeve to put it back together. I guess the guy that did the delete and oil cooler melted it and shoved it back behind the battery where I found it.
Off hand check that the pressure switch is plugged in and there is no wire problem then look at the wireing and switch at the a/c compressor it self.
You may also want to check the fuzes and the relay.
that line that was melted only gets vacuum when MAX AC is selected and it isn't a big deal that it was unhooked other than some vacuum loss
agreed give it a visual and look for unhooked connectors and listen to see if the compressor is cycling
if the charge is low it will not come on
