Ok guys someone said this, Drive it hard for about 5 minutes pull over pop the hood and barely loosen the degas bottle cap. If there is a lot of pressure/ noise or if its super hot don't buy it. Blown head headgaskets,

My question is my truck dont run hot what so ever I have stock bolts on my 2003 f250 6.0, but sometimes I loosen the coolant cap and there is pressure. It dont leak or anything just has pressure when I loosen the cap.
Is this something to be worried about?

The cooling system is always under pressure, normal 8 to 12 psi.
The cap is set to vent at 16 psi if you suspect you may have too much pressure don't guess, tee in a gauge in the small line to the bottle and get the truck warmed up good and see what the gauge shows. Best to drive it a few miles.
