Could be a gasket, but I doubt it. Do you have a scanner thar you can can run a buzz test for each cylinder? If not, check injector connector. After that, you will need to gat a scanner or possibly waste a whole lot of time. You might be able to unplug other injectors and then turn key on and see if no 1 ( only one left) will buzz. If it buzzes, then you might have to pull injector and see if it is seated correctly. Or swap it with no 3 and see if miss moves to no 3

If it buzzes and you aren't getting any injector codes, I can only suggest a couple of things. No real way that I know to tell if injector is bad except to replace it with a new one or trade it with another and see if the miss follows it.

Anyone else?

You could check the compression, but I have not really heard of a good way to test it. I assume there is some type of adapter to check it through injector port or go through the glow plug port. I have not done it yet.
