Engine dies, good ficm volts, no injector buzz

Sometimes truck dies. Most times it will fire right back up. Sometimes it won't. When it won't fire up, you get no injector buzz cycle. All ficm voltages and oil pressures are in appropriate ranges for starting. After a while you can turn the key on, hear buzz test and it will fire right up. Ficm is only a couple of months old. Have checked harnesses a couple of times. This never happened until we changed out weak ficm. Could this still be a ficm problem even though AE shows no codes and all else looks good, just no injector operation?? Or am I looking at a PCM issue and how would I check that??

i would find someone that has the ford software and check for ficm sync and cam sync. thats what it sounds like to me. if there is no ficm sync, it means the ficm isnt talking to the truck. same for cam. and cam sensor will mess with your injectors. but if you have only had the issue since the ficm was replaced, thats where i would start.

Did you swap out your FICM relay? it could be failing when it gets hot.
