RPM fluctuation (small amounts)

Recently I have noticed at idle, I can hear and see a slight bump up in rpms…maybe 50 to 100 rpm that last about a second and goes back down. Almost at a rythym when it starts doing it…..say 5 seconds normal then 1 quick bump up only goes up in rpm not down. Then I hold the accelerator to say 2000 rpm and i can see bigger fluctuations (up and down say 100 to 200 rpm not quick bumps up or down but more gradual fluctuations). I braced a stick on the seat thinking is was just my foot moving, and I still got the fluctuation. Took it to dealer today and they cleared a sticking turbo code and said let them know if I have any more problems……dealers sometimes get me so mad…that was the reason I took it in…anyway….any thoughts. Is a bigger problem coming. Are these fluctuations normal….I have had the truck for 6 years and never noticed it. It is a 2006 6.0.
