03 water light want go off .

I have an 03 . Fire up no light 1 mile or so down the road the water in fuel light comes on and want go off. I just recently replaced both fuel filters and still same thing I have even added the additives to see if that will dry it up . What else could there be bad sensor ? Bad filters ? And can't to much water hurt the injectors ? . I already have bad orings on it .

On my truck I had to pull the entire pump off of the truck so I could get the inside completely clean because just draining it was not cutting it. I have not had a light on since doing this
