05 6.0 idles rough

05 f450 6.0 died the other day going down the road finally got it started and limped home about 25 mph. Ordered auto enginuity got it today had a ton of codes cleared them and started truck drive up the road truck ran rough pulled codes when I got back cylinder injector circuit low all 8 cylinders ficm voltage 48-50 cranking and idling hooked up the autoenginuity took ficm voltage going down the road dropped to 40 when I got up to about 55 mph. Is this a bad ficm or something else? Wasn't, sure what voltage should be at driving speed and rpm's thanks

FICM shouldn't drop below 46 volts. Check the plugs on the connection just to be sure, but I would suspect a repair/replace FICM is in order. Ed at ficmrepair.com as well as Anthony as BulletProofDiesel.com have been helpful to me lately and either will get ya back on the road!

Update got my ficm back from FICMrepair.com with atlas 40 tune put it on the truck, it runs better but still has like a miss, ficm voltage all good didn't drop below 49 volts, passed the buzz test, got one code p0272 cylinder 4 injector contribution so I guess it needs a new injector any opinions? Thanks

I have a question if injectors pass a buzz test does that mean the wiring harness is good or could it be a wiring issue, I have checked the harness and I can't find any chaffed or broke wires.

Try full synthetic oil with archoil or revex it has worked for me when I had a miss at idle. It is cheaper than an injector
