Engine no start (took 3 tries to start it)
I went go somewhere today in my 2004. I get in the truck, wait for glow plugs and then I try starting it and it didn't. I tried again, nothing. Well the next time as soon as I began cranking it fired right up. However my scangauge didn't load at all so I was like forget it. I drive to where I need to go (ran great, no smoke or loss of power) and as soon as I get there, I turn off the truck and restart it and the scangauge finally begins working and all reads normal (FICM, icp, etc.) After all that it ran fine and started fine but I was kind of confused as to what causes my truck to do that. Wasn't too cold 54 degrees with rev x in oil and I've started it in much colder. And I had a no start issue awhile back and it was wiring and cam sensor and ford fixed it no issues with truck since.
Anyone know what could be the problem or how I can fix it?
Also fuel pump and injectors have 12k miles on them and I doubt that was the case.
