So it will start if I cycle the keys . Bellows white or light grey smoke, smells like mad diesel fuel. once it is started it will idle and rev like everything is good. then all of the sudden it sounds like your slowly just turning the fuel down until the idle gets so low it dies. Thinking it could be a clogged converter, I pulled the down tube loose from the turbo just to see if it was the problem. When I pulled my hand back from the exhaust side of the turbo my fingers were covered with oil.

So how bad do you think it is?

Sounds to me like you've got at least one bad injector. Either a cracked nozzle or it's hanging open.

I'd bet money that's the issue. I had that happen on an 06 I put injectors in just a few months ago. #6 contribution and ended up being a cracked nozzle.

well I just put these in maybe a month and a half ago. I got them from Warrens but I was going to get bigger nozzles I was just hoping to wait until I bought a new turbo
Why would I have oil in my exhaust port/down tube.

Could have a seal leaking in the turbo. The injectors I put in were in one day when the nozzle cracked.
