Hey guys don't know where to start I was having cold start issues but that's not my problem now .. now I have a hot smell like electrical burning under my hood . Mostly the passenger side of the engine bay . I just replaced the blower motor the resistor and I added rev X and I also replace the water pump About 1k miles ago .. any ideas?

Is this just after start up? Does it get worse after the truck has been running and warmed up? Does it ever go away?

No I start it and let it warm up for a few minutes come back and can smell it after just a few minutes . I would say it gets stronger smell when its up to temp tho . But doesn't go away .. every time I drive it I smell it . I thought at first maybe it was seething on the block getting hot and would burn off but I'm thinking there is. more to it than that

It smells like I'm burning popcorn ... it was really strong tonight . And it happens whether my blower fan is blowing or not soon as I turn truck on within a minute I can smell it and then it gets stronger

Smell is still here ... I can't find anything loose or touching anything hot . But I noticed that the smell isn't all the time it is a hit and miss thing . Tonight was a night that bit smelled like there was a fire under the hood . I went out started the truck let it warm for 10 min Cruz its single digit temps came out the door and could smell it . But it didn't smell for the last 2 or 3 days so I thought it was gone . Now its haunting me again . Is there a mod that im missing somewhere ? Do otjers habe this problem and theres a trick to it that i havent found on the search button ?
Thanks for all the. help guys!
