just bought a 2006 F-350,6.0 Diesel, Dually, 4x4, 6 speed with 140000 miles.
Bought it in California and on way back home to Oregon the pulley tension assembly (dual pulleys) broke off. The threaded part of both bolts are still stuck in motor housing!! What are my options?
Also, I am stuck in Santa Rosa, CA. Does anyone know a mechanic who knows his way around the 6.0 diesel engine? Thank you.

that is kind of a big deal. i hate to be the bearer of bad news but unless you are lucky enough for the bolt to be loose and you can unscrew it with a pick or something, you might be in a bit of a pickle. youd need to get the fan clutch out at a minimum and that is really hard to do without the belt on. maybe even remove the radiator to allow room for a person to get in there and extract it.
