Check your fuel pressure.

Lord I shall lead them to the water but I will not try to make them drink

I have an '07 with 124K. I have done the basic bullet proofing and have an edge programmer. I have had a similar problem, but a little different. Drive around no problem, shut off, start up, no problem. Then, randomly, I crank like crazy, no start. Volts are good. Got towed in the first time and they said I had a bad battery. Truck ran good. Then it happened again. This time I thought about it and unhooked both of my batteries, counted to 5 and hooked them back up. Truck fired up immediately. I am assuming that I have a fuel relay somewhere that is not resetting. |
Any ideas?
By the way, sorry, not trying to jack your thread. I just keep reading of similar problems and everyone is talking about all of the setting parameters and HPOPs and such, but no one has said if they unhooked batteries and made a difference.
