Heres one for you.

Heres one for you.
2007 F250 King Ranch; 6.0L Hooked up two wheel trailer Wed, and went and checked out deer hunting spots, everything perfect, although trailer lights did look bright to me. Pulled in shop left truck till Sat morning to go hunt. (haven't touched truck since Wed.) No trailer lights. Tried factory plug and Adapter I bought for my boat lights, (it has a 4 and a 5 pin plug). Nothing.
While messing with lights I noticed engine rpm increasing at least 2 or 3 hundrerd RPM. I patted pedal and it went back down. It was cold so i didnt think much about it at first. Got to noticing when I plugged an unplugged trail lights was when it was happening. Went on hunting without lights and truck seemed fine, but lights were coming on and off all the way there. I figure poor ground, but how did that affect Idle???

Found problem with lights, ground wire on plug almost completely in two. Still no clue on idle issue. I see no one else has any ideas either.

Might just be a weird grounding issue. Do you have another trailer you could try?
