Low fuel pressure

Ok so here it goes I have a airdog 2 i know people dont like them and i have a driven diesel regulator kit and im running 155cc injectors and i am only readying 22 psi at the regulator its self and if we dead head the airdog its getting 75psi 12 inchs off the pump now if we run it in line with key on we get 25psi 12 inchs off the pump an 22psi at the regulator and i need to get those pressures up to 55 at the injectors from what im told and was wondering what i should do to solve this or what could be the problem

no personnel experience with airdog but you find people here either 1. love it, 2 hate it bad...

have you contacted the manufacturer? could be

1. air dog not up to snuff
2. gaue is not working correctly?
3. does the air dog system use the oem fuel pump and it just separates air from fuel or does it use a new standalone system?

from what little research i've done all thats advised for fuel system is a regulated return for big injectors and higher hp numbers untill your pushing extreme numbers?

Yes its a stand alone pump and I called airdog and they sent me a new motor and It gave me a little more pressure if I dead headed it but not at flow second I have a regulated return and it just doesn't make enough pressure to put out be used

hmm to be honest im not a fuel system guy for 6.0's but figured I'd try anyways and maybe seeing a few more post would attract the more knowledgable guys...

try tuscany, juggernaught and the pvtgreen guy all are very very helpful and know alot about these trucks.

sounds like the air dog is messed up if your reading that low on 12inchs from pump... you double check with another type of pressure gauge? like digital vs mechanical or?

also have you checked for any pinched o-rings that wouldn't cause an external leak but maybe a loss of pressure?

Checked the pressures with a mechanical gauge and we got a new motor for the pump and checked all those O rings as well at the driven diesel fuel regulator and both are all the way turned up the the most pressure
