2psi oil pressure
I have a 2005 f-250 with 6.0L. The oil pressure gauge in dash read no pressure till u accel to about 1200 rpms. I replace the pressure switch and still nothing. So i hooked up a gauge through the oil temp sensor and it reads 2psi at idle. When u accel to 1200 rpms it reads 12psi. I checked the oil filter and the oil filter outlet tube had a spring and small plastic piece sitting in the top of the tube (not where it should be). I Replaced the tube assembly but still have the same problem.
Is that spring in the tube the anti drain back valve? If not where is the valve located at? Also any thing else i can check to see why i have 2psi oil pressure at idle?
