Cylinder 1 isn't pulling its weight

So when I replaced my heads recently I also replaced the injector on cylinder 4 because I was getting a "cylinder contribution" error. That error went away, but then immediately afterward I started getting the same error for cylinder 1.

So this weekend I finally got around to replacing the injector for cylinder 1 with a new one from Ford. It worked! For like two drives, then the error came back.

The engine seems to be running fine. So, any ideas on what else I should check? Wiring? I wonder how the system measures a cylinder's contribution anyway?
