FICM

Got my Scan Guage II hooked up today, got it configured. Good news is the cooling system looks great, 9 degrees or less difference between EOT and ECT. I haven't really put a load on it yet. Running about 191 and 197 respectively.The Bad news is I've seen as low as 32v on FICM. Whats the best one for the money?

If your handy with a soldering iron fix it yourself and spend the ficm money on a 190 amp alternator.
Look up Dr. FICM that will go over where and what to do. I fixed mine some year or so ago and my Dale resistors were burned away in one spot. Bought that part for .49 cents.

Both recommendations above will work.
Dorman also sells a new power board for it for around $180.00-$200.00 on eBay and it is a improved design.

The B/P one is in a class of its own but is costly.

Whatever you decide do it soon before the injectors go to hell on you.

I second Ed at ficmrepair.com,very affordable,great performance,get a custom tune while your at it,had mine done truck runs a hell of a lot better

I tried the fix it myself with no luck. I went with Ed at FICMREPAIR.COM and so far have had zero issues. Very pleased!. But if you got the cash you cant go wrong handing it over to the Bullet Proof guys.

Yup 100% agree. I had the atlas 80 and it was very cool. But the EGT's tore me up. So now I have the atlas 40! If you tow,this is the way to roll!
