Sluggish start

Hi guys

I'm brand new to the forum its great! I just bought a 2006 F250 KR with 87,000miles. I`m on my third week of ownership. I haven`t had any issues to speak of. About a week in I swapped the stock coolant for CAT EC-1. However this morning when i went out to my truck, i turn the ignition to the on position and let it sit for about 15sec like ive always done. When i tried to start it the starter cranked abnormally slow for about 1-2 sec then all of a sudden began cranking normally till the truck fired up. Once the truck fired there was a cloud of greyish/whitish smoke they came out of the exhaust for about 2 second then dispated. Well the engine was smoking it did not stumble or act out of the ordinary. I am not going through any coolant or oil. Could this be related to STC fitting on the HPOP? Or the dummy/stand pipes? I monitored FISM voltage during key on and cranking and it is 48-49v. Battery voltage at start up is 11.8 volts I was thinking the battery voltage must have dipped low well the glow plugs were cycling. It is alittle cooler were i am the ambient air temp is 44F.

I appreciated any help or insight you could give me

RYAN

Welcome to the site! The 6.0's are battery killers for sure. But Id start first with checking all of your connections. The grounds and positives. check out the "BIG 3 UPGRADE".
And also Im not sure how cold you guys are getting up their yet but you are gonna want to make sure before winter to run some type of synthetic oils. Your truck will thank you and it will start so much easier. I run the Rotell t6.
