Turbo ? Run-on Never heard this before

Have a 06 just aquired again that makes about 9 of them now ,great thing is it has all the good stuff ,studs delete 4"turbo back, and about 345k,for $2200.00 I aint complaining. But the truck was kinda a dog and couldnt get the fuel pressure checked cause fitting on the fuel pressure gauge I rigged at shop would not go in it so we changed the spring anyhow.Changed this because was getting whitish blue fuel smelling smoke and thats gone now.The issue is the turbo runs on after the truck is shut down has anybody dealt with that or is it common.Like I said I got 9 trucks with 6.0 in them and not one have I heard this before. The turbo on the truck looks shiny brand new,but when you turn the motor off you can hear the turbo free running throught the air cleaner?(AFE).After the blue spring I hooked it up to a triple dog progam and man its got guts,it does take a bit to spool up and when it does she rolls the coal no matter what speed and I mean black black smoke,I am leaniing toward a turbo just thought would ask for opions first as we all know there time consumers to do.Oh ya I get all mine from Richie Bros, cause people dont like the 6.0 like I do LOL

I'm pretty sure my turbo still whistles for about ten seconds after I shut her down. I also hear compression leaving thru my stock air filter
