Turbo failure? exhaust leak? egr leak?

I've got a 2006 f250 it's got 221k miles original*turbo. Predator programmer. 4 to 5 inch straight pipe. The other day I drove truck and I heard the*turbo*whistling extremely loud, but only under the hood and under acceleration over 1000 rpm. The exhaust sounds as usual but in the cab and under hood very loud. At idle is normal sounding. When it is started up it runs a couple seconds then when you hear*turbo*kick in I hear a pfft sound with a slight squeak. I have no coolant leaks. I listened around and right at the compressor side ofturbo*will dang near keep your ears ringing for a few minutes. Most definitely sounds loudest directly inturbo. I also dont smell exhaust really or see much evidence of a leak to speak of. Its possible that I am not looking in correct spots also. Any info is greatly appreciated. I an taking it on a 800 mile trip with my camper in 3 weeks so I need to fix asap thanks again
