Yea i doubt its a push rod, but who knows, its very very rare on a 6.0l. What codes have you got?

I was actually just watching some 6.0 informational videos on youtube, where this mechanic talks about how the 6.0 valvetrain is of a weak design. Don't know if that is the case or not though. If anyone is interested in watching this guys videos, here is the link. I think some of what he says is true, and kind of interesting, he is a little weird though.

The truck has reworked injectors good for 100hp. I had the heads reworked at the machine shop after it blew hypermax head gaskets.They were $700 ,worth of junk.The machine shop said they had to take off 7 and 9 tlousands.But the shop is a international big truck dealer and repair shop.

Just found out yesterday that it was not a bent push rod.But the hold downds.I found that the bolts have steched. Also a ford tech said you should replace every time. Runs great now.

But now after it 's passed all that antifreeze and fuel threw the turbo.Now thae vains are sticking in the turbo.Going to have and replace now.

They flaged me. talked.Them into putting a reman on for 800 bucks.Called Ford said no go under waranty.The truck was modifed.
