Pressure in degas bottle

Im building pressure in my degas bottle and every so often you can hear the radiator cap release steam. over the coarse of a month I might lose about a half gallon fluid thru the radiator cap. Has anyone had this and if so what could it be. Ive replaced the radiator and that wasnt it. I installed a egr delete kit from IPR earlier. Truck does not smoke or run hot.

The quick answer without asking a lot of questions, head gaskets.

Replace the cap first, it might have failed and is releasing early. $12 from Ford and they are known to fail.

More likely, Cheesy's right. Checking degas for over-pressurization is the basic head gasket failure test.
