EOT and ECT range is odd

So I had my oil cooler changed out 18 months ago,put in a bulletproof EGR cooler, did the coolant flush and change to ELC cat rated and up till last month my deltas were great (4-6* difference), ive noticed lately that the deltas are getting greater with the oil running hotter, by approx. 9-12*! I do regular oil changes, recently put in REV-X, ficm has just been redone. So im wondering why the oil is running a bit warmer. Should I drain coolant and re add some new stuff? I also had a coolant filter on for the first year after changing coolant and ive taken it off because a filter seized to the unit. Anyone know why my oil is running a bit warmer then normal? If oil cooler is starting to block should the coolant not run hotter?

Oil temps shouldalways be higher than coolant temps. While you'r delta is about mid range you are well within the 15 deg. differential range or [delta]

What exactly are your concerns.

No, I wasn't towing. My concern is when I changed my oil cooler/EGR cooler/coolant 18 months ago, my deltas were always 4-7 degrees apart, now my oil is running hotter, deltas are growing,my concern is if that's a sign my cooling system is starting to act up

well towing makes it hotter. but your oil cooler is prolly plugging back up. but at 12* I wouldn't worry that much yet.

and just cause you run elc doesn't mean you cant clog your cooler again. cause it still happens.

Oil cooler starting to plug up again… only thing you can do at this point is to monitor it closely and when it gets outa control, replace with another stock oil cooler or get the BPD oil cooler and never worry about it again.

I just replaced my oil cooler last week and switched to CAT elc and Rotella T6 5w40. Cruising higway I run about 12* delta but in town or at idle I run 2-4* delta

my delta after coolant flush and new oil cooler with cat ec-1 coolant 8 months ago, my delta on the highway is about 5 degrees and on a trip last month towing a 3,800 lb boat and with a 400 lb ATV in the bed my delta was no more than 11 degrees at 65-70 mph

Did you do a flush before new coolers or after?

I think the ELC coolant runs differently then ford gold.. I had a huge rant because with ford gold i ran about 5 delta on highway then after 1. chemical flush, 2 studs, 3 delete, 4 new cooler i run about 9-10 deltas. but my truck has never ran better i think your fine man. when your oil gets up to 230 driving normally then get concerned i think at 245 or 253 oil tmep your engine "defuels" to save itself. run your truck and get a better coolant filter.
