06 6.0 Multiple issues Please Help!!

Greetings Fellows

I purchased a 06 f350 three years ago with 120,000 miles on her.

At that time I had a shop put a Sinister EGR delete and a cooler bypass.

They also did the Head bolts.

Was running well except for a steady oil consumption through the Turbo.

I did not have the time or money to address it so I kept an eye on oil and topped it up regularily.

However, 6 months ago, symptoms started as follows:

Heavy smoke and rough running on start up, Mostly when cold and it disappeared after engine heated up.

That changed to heavy smoke and rough running when starting all the time. Going away after a few minutes.

That changed to present symptoms of

Heavy smoke and rough running when starting.

When on highway, 70/30 70% of time it goes away and runs alright. 30% of time the symptoms stay.

Also combined with Boost pressure gage indicating a strong steady surge followed in conjunction with engine surge. Boost first / engine second.

It only surges on slight or heavy acceleration. No acceleration/ no surge.

Surge is steady, consistent, all the time when accelerating.

I changed the ICP sensor which seemed to help for a few days but wondering if it is my imagination.

In any event, Can't drive truck like this so have to break down and spend time and money to address.

Keeping in mind, turbo has been leaking oil for several years, Perhaps contributing to sensor issues.

Help Please, I have no way to read the codes presently.

Electrical system has not been completely drained of power for a very long time in case this is an issue.

Sorry to be so long winded, hoping more is good.
