P0272 injectors ???

I have a code throwing p0272 cylinder/balance fault I've been reading on it is it the Ficm or injector the truck shakes like its misfiring around 1200-1700 rpms and now it's doing it from any range it idles funny and has loss of mpg and power trying to figure this problem already bought an injector but don't want to do a tear down if I don't have to I run diesel Kleen for the injectors also
Truck is stock except 4" turbo back , superchips ,and airaid cold air


Please help

It is quite possible it is only one injector, but it is more likely that you have 2 injectors that need replacing, but only one throwing a code. If you can, it may be worth getting a power balance or contribution test so you know before you change just the coded one.

If it is stiction only, try the fix in my sig.

A Ford dealership or at a shop with a good diagnostic tool. The IDS is best for this test.

I did some driving around after clearing the codes and cylinder 4 came back up so I went for it changed it today and its been good so far haven't drove it a lot though will stay posted thanks
