Angry rough running

I have a 6.0 in my 06 dually. When I first start it at the beginning of the day, it runs rough and has no power. It won't hardly get fast enough to change gears. By the time i get to town (7 miles) it runs smooth except it cuts out when i put my foot in it. I was in Texas for three days and when I started it, the water in fuel light came on. It has gotten a lot worse. I have ran some water remover through it but it still runs bad when first started. Any suggestions before I sell it? I have used it for towing campers across America and Canada.

Did you drain the water out of the HFCM or just added water remover? You need to drain the HFCM to remove as much water from the system as possible. Also are you running the correct Motorcraft fuel filters or are you using the cheap napa filters that don't filter out the water from the fuel? I would probably change fuel filters either way. If this doesn't fix the problem I would try to check FICM voltage.
