De-gas bottle building pressure

Im building up pressure in my radiator de-gas tank and about every 30 seconds it lets off steam thru the cap. I have to add about a half gallon every week because im losing water thru the radiator cap. I changed the radiator and cap and it still does it. Im going to try the heater core next. Any suggestions?

any smoke coming out of the exhaust?^^ agreed check out how much pressure you actually have by hooking a pressure gauge inline with your degas bottle. There is a nice write up Tuscany did on how to make a gauge and tell if you are building to much pressure but it does sound like blown hgs.
