Another Smokin 6.0

My 05 truck is smokin blue pretty bad at idle and while driving slowly, doesnt matter if it is cold or warm, i can come off a 2 hour trip on the highway, pull in somewhere, and after about 30 seconds its smokin blue again, its definitatly diesel smoke, i can feel it in my eyes lol. The filters are good, it's not using oil, and does it with or without the tuner installed, BTW it has 90,000 miles on it.

hey there. i thought that oil burning resulted in blue smoke?
I get blue smoke to at start, i know what you mean about your eyes burning! I guess maybe it is diesel smoke, maybe bad injectors, can diesel smoke be blue?

well its actually kinda blue/white smoke, and i also forgot to mention that once in awhile the truck heats up quite a bit while climbing hills, but as soon as the fan cuts in it cools back down. If i take it in to get checked out, do i have to pay diagnostic charges even though the motor is still under warranty?

I would imagine being under warranty you should only have to pay your deductible.

Check your EGR valve. Prolly sooted up
Is it puking water out the overflow bottle?

EGR issue...unplug it while the truck is off and run it that way to test it. if so leave it unplugged to avoid all the problems associated with the EGR valve

Mine blew a little of the infamous blue/white smoke, right before I took it in for the EGR cooler to be replaced. And, it was puking out the bottle.
