idles fine but dies when in gear

I have a 2004 f350 sbcc with the 6.0 and an automatic. It will crank up and run great while in park at an idle but as soon as I put it in gear it shutters and dies. I don't know what's wrong.

all stock except for the blue spring upgrade. filters are less than 1 month old. I had a superchips 1805 programmed to it. i have since returned to stock and same thing. downloading the superchips software now try and see some real time engine data. i dont know what good it will do for me to see live engine data i dont have a fraking clue what most of it means. i did pull the codes. it is throwing 6 soft codes all for egr related stuff. i have the valve unplugged so i figure thats why i am getting them.

I am about to try changing filters. hopefully that fixes the problem, but with my luck it wont.
