Question for the techs.

I JUST bought an 07 Lariat. It has 1000 miles on it and I bought it at 11 miles.

My question(s) are followed:

1. My radiator fan(s) seem to come on to much. If i first start it and let it idle for about 10 mins. then take off the fans are roaring. Also, even if it's only 77 deg. outside the fans are coming on. Usually as soon as i hear it and then throttle on it pretty hard they will hush.

2. The truck seems weak. It takes it a while to come up to boost then it will only read 20 psi on the factory gauge. Is this normal?

I am coming out of an 05 duramax with a superchips prog., 5" turbo back exhaust, cold air intake. Is it just me on the power because i was spoiled?

not a diesel tech however, have you driven another 6.0?
that should answer whether its weak or not. chips and exhaust are nice but your truck stock should still sh-t and get.

The duramax you were driving was MUCH LIGHTER, and with the programmer had a bit more power. It'll be hard to see above 20psi unless pulling a long hill while towing.

Not sure about the fan thing.

Theres no doubt I am spoiled to the power I had with the duramax.

But, my plans are to buy an exhaust and an xzillaraider very soon and that should liven things up!
