Component missing - Help

I recently bought a 2006 F250 6.0 SD. On the passenger side of the engine compartment i have a missing component that I need help figuring out what was there. Here are pictures of the connections:

Looks like the vacuum solenoid. Sits next to the vacuum pump. or the vacuum pump. Been a while since I replaced mine.

No the vacuum line does T off and connect prior to the missing component to that. Here is another pic of where it is supposed to be bolted to the side. It takes two bolts:

Hope this helps. Here are some pics of the wires and solenoid on my 04.

*Edit* stangman is correct, you are missing your solenoid.

Well that would be the missing component... Now what is it? What does it do? The previous owner had to have taken it off for some reason.

Sorry just saw that you are saying it is my vacuum solenoid. Why would someone remove that?

When mine stopped working and I lost the 4x4 in the middle of a blizzard and locked my hubs manually.Could have been removed cause it didn't work to match it up and never got a new one cause it wasn't a major issue.

OK so just get out and lock them manually and all is good.
