DONT EVER DO THAT AGAIN. Powerstrokes hate starting fluid. You can and will blow it up.

Obviously you have a fuel issue, either your fuel pump or FICM isn't working properly. Hopefully someone with more experience with the 6.0's will chime in to help you. That's where I would start though.

Utilize the search in the 6.0 forum.

do you have a monitor we can look at? whats the truck sound like when its cranking over.. and whats your FICM voltage.. to me it most definitely sounds like an FICM issue to me.. does it start to chug and then shut off at lower RPMs

I just fixed an 05 that would not idle. I could press the pedal and it would run, as soon as I let off it would not idle and die. Auto enginuity would keep it running at 1000rpm, but any less it would die like you turned the key off. Checked everything I could think of. Ohmed out the cam sensor and it was good. Called a friend and he said that he ran across a similar situation and it ended up being the cam sensor that was weak. So I changed mine and it works like a champ now. Idles great. It is supposed to be between 800-1000 ohms. Mine was 876ohms and still bad.
