6.0 shut down

i have a 2004 6.0. it shuts down after reaching operating temp. i have had the ficm rebuilt, changed thrmostat and air cleaner. had an injector and 3 glow plugs replaced. could the turbo or egr be causing the shut down? it always restarts within 3-5 min.

Sounds like the egr valve is probably sticking. When my egr valve went out the truck would stumble, stall, or go into limp mode after the truck got to operating temp. If you let it sit for a minute it would fire right up. I would try cleaning the egr valve and if that don't work delete the egr to save $$ down the road. Do you have a monitor? I hope that helps.
