Lightbulb what else do i need

ok so i have an 03 f250 6.0 with a 5in to 7in tip exhaust straight out of the turbo. i am looking to fix the "6.0 problem" my friend told me that head studs only need to be replaced if you mess things up but since mine runs fine i was wondering if i could prevent getting head studs my getting this air intake and sinister diesel egr kit? would i need anything else. i plan on doing the work myself. also when complete i am going to take it in to get a 3 tune sct tuner. gas. tow/daily. smoke(off road only). please let me know if you found a better kit than this one or any thing else. i am getting this intake though because my uncle has a brand new one in his garage free

Installing a aftermarket air filter assy is a bad idea. It will not filter near as well as the Donaldson OEM unit the truck came with. There is no HP gain whatsoever.

The head studs are necessary when you tune the engine at a certain point. Some tunes are safe with the stock head bolts. SCT with the SRL is a tune that can be used w/o studs.

Sinister is good quality stuff but either one here should be fine.
I have no experience with either one since I live in California and have to keep egr on the truck .
Someone will chime in I'm sure.
