Question P0113 trouble code - IAT Sensor

Can anyone tell me where this sensor is located? My engine light has recently come on and am getting a trouble code of P0113 Intake Air Temperature Curcuit High Input. I've been doing some research on the internet, trying to figure out what to do. From what I've found, I need to check this sensor to ensure it's not "gummed" up on the inside and also check the wiring going to it. Problem is I can not find anywhere on the internet to tell me where it's at.

Damn...my apologies to the OP. I didn't look up the code to see which IAT sensor throws that code. My bad.

Forgive me, as I'm new to diesel, and working on engine things in general. But I'm tired of throwing my money away on simple things I can do myself, if I new how to do.

How do I know if it is equipped with a mass air flow sensor? I will do some internet research right now on "maf" sensor and see what I can find.

Do you agree that I'm on the right track of pulling this sensor to see if it's 'gummed' up, and possibly replacing it?

Am I hurting anything by driving it, before I get it figured out?

Thank you!

You are not hurting it by driving it, you can look in the air intake tube and if there is a flat five wire connector plugged into a sensor than that is your maf, if there is a two wire sensor there then it just has iat with no maf.

Thanks you for your help. Is there a way to test or have the MAF / IAT sensor tested? I'd hate to spend the $100 bucks on a new one to have the engine light stay on with the P0113 code? I pulled it out last night and it didn't look real dirty or "gummed" up. Attached is what I pulled out and looked at last night. I'm pretty sure I'm looking at the right thing.

There is MAF cleaner available; don't use brake cleaner. But the indication you are getting is more indicative of a failure or a shorted wire. Try an auto recycler.
