A different deltas question

Will a "sick" engine trying to compensate run a hotter oil temp? Did egr delete and oil cooler replacement 30,000 ago with mutiple restore flushes and a coolant filter install. Deltas were in range until dveloped an exhaust leak on up pipe, where deltas went to 18-20 under normal driving. Fixed exhaust leak and immediately developed a pressure leak in intake tube between intercooler and manifold and deltas are still up. So again, will a "sick" engine compensating for under power generate higher deltas? Thanks in advance for any input and info.

thats a though one. Did you do the restore before or after the oil cooler replacement. IF you did them after the oil cooler replacement then too me it just sounds like a clogged oil cooler

Yes, but a slight increase. Think of it like towing a load, it may increase a small amount. If your deltas have widened a lot, you are suffering the follow-on from your initial flush and treatment. Compared to others, you did well for it to make it another 30k.

EOT usually creeps up when an oil cooler is clogging from what I have seen

to have it jump is strange

what are your temps ?
