The overflow filled up but it never overflowed. I was keeping an eye on it in the first place so it never went a day with out being checked. I can say that I have not had any more problems with it after the 2nd cooler was installed.

Question

Did your truck have any other symptoms like starting issues or sputtering when cold?

Thanks

Craig

Can anyone with these same problems help me. My truck started blowing white smoke from the tail pipe intermittently. It had a faint smell of oil, but it is difficult to determine using Royal Purple synthetifc because I have never smelled synthetic oil burn. I was not losing coolant and my oil looked fine. The white smoke grew worse. Ford pressure tested the coolant system and said it was fine and changed the EGR valve and did a BG intake flush. The white smoke continued and my remote crankcase vent can showed water and mikly oil in it, although I did not notice lost coolant and the oil looked fine. I tiiok the truck to another high performance diesel shop who said I had coolant in the intake and the EGR cooler must be bad. Ford then just changed the EGR cooler and oil cooler. Now the white smoke is worse than ever. I can idel the truck forever with no white smoke, but as soon as I give it throttle, it pours out. Think it could be the Turbo seals leaking oil into the exhaust downpipe? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I have fought this for over one month already and need to get the truck fixed. Thanks, Michael.
