Clutch fan question

Have a 06 f250 and the fan is running all the time. Had it scanned and there is a dead spot in the fan, it will go from 100% to 0 back to 100% again. So I have drove it to work today and the temp gauge on the dash hit the hot mark in the way in, so my question is with the fan running all the time would that keep the motor cool, or is it just added stress to the motor causing it to run hot?

Anyone? Just had arp studs, Hyder max gaskets and egr delete done with in the last year, coolant is full as well, oil temp never leaves the 1/4ish point in the gauge.

COLD motor- fan runs

Yes I have had 2 f250 and the second the fan turn on more often that the first f250-both 2004 HD! Well i took in to two different ford dealers, oh we see nothing wrong- duh maybe it is a internitant problem. This f250 fan will turn on going down hill even after temp is 190. This week the fan was on from a cold start.
Yes I had to do the Bulltetproof EGR cooler, EGR value, and oil cooler. Then i had to take it back because the oil pressure wne to zero and would die like it is suppose to do. Oil sending lunit was bad. Made a 1,000 mile trip to test this out, to my surprise i became really happy. F250 ran very nice and most of all got 20-21 mpg. The engine temp didnot variate as before and the fan did not come on as before the Bulletproof ing! So now dead cold and clutch fan is on!!
