HELP! Im loosing my patients! Radiator problem.

AHHH! Just replaced the EGR valve an took it for a test drive. Pulling back into the drive way I noticed a puddle of coolant where I park. Pop the hood to find out the nipple from the upper radiator tank that goes to the degass line is busted off half way!

Only thing I can think is I must of broke it. Do I have to completely swap out my radiator or can the upper tank be replaced?

Im about 6K down since fixing everything thats been wrong with this thing and now this once I figure I got it all done!

find a local radiator shop and have them put a new brass nipple on it. Looks like it will have to come out of the truck for the work to be done. Probably wouldn't charge much...just have to be good at threading plastic. If you're good at it, you could probably do it yourself..Just take your time.. The fitting would be 1/8" barbed..maybe secure it with some jbweld to ensure no leaks.

Think I fixed it for now. Replaced it with a brass nipple. It's not leaking for now. Still don't like it seems like Jerry-rigged fix for now. If it does start leaking again I'm thinking of going with an aftermarket aluminum tank radiator. Any pros and cons between them and stock?
