Random long hot crank, not HPO

been getting random long hot crank but I was able to datalog one finally. they are anywhere from 3.5sec to 10 sec. I have updated Standpipes and Dummy Plugs done on it already. but below are the datalog info, any insight would be appreciated.

4.5 sec crank total
ICP hit 500psi at 0.4 sec
ICP hit 670 psi at 0.75sec crank and stayed until startup
IPR shot to 37% and stayed there

I will try to check the rpm tomorrow, but Im almost certain I don't have the FICM SYNC PID for my SCT. So if anyone knows which PID it is for the SCT LiveLink that would be appreciated.

Actualy I think you do have an HP oil pressure problem probably a bad IPR.

Now 500 psi is the minimum to crank but the PCM preferres to see higher. At your stage of crank you should be seeing around 900 psi and IPR% should be around 84%.

Inital start up the IPR closes as much as it can to insure there is sufficient oil flow to the oil rails and the injector spool valves, one running it will open to about 50%. As you increase throttle it closes some more and increases oil flow to the rails to compensate for oil used in operation. The IPR works by dumping excess pressure to the pan.

Lord I shall lead them to the water but I will not try to make them drink

The desired ICP on the pcm is 670psi the whole time, once it hits 670 psi it doesnt go up or down its constant. Also, having read around the forums alot, ive read that the IPR % is only what the pcm is telling, not the actual ipr position, and that the higher the % the more pressure it is supplying to the injectors. All the threads say that 85% during crank is a hpo leak.
